David Jaffe leaves Eat Sleep Play following layoffs

With Twisted Metal just around the corner, releasing on February 14th some interesting news has come from the makers Eat Sleep Play, and from the figurehead one David Jaffe.

The team is laying off 8 employees, and the rest of the team (26) will continue to develop games for iOS

David Jaffe (Lead Designer of both Twisted Metal and the original God of War) is also leaving the team planing to open his own game studio in San Diego so that he can once again be more directly involved in his future projects.

While Jaffe is leaving he promised he and ESP will continue to support the game post launch with patches balancing etc…
