Music Docs and Space Apartment Furniture Bundle Heading into Home

Music has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up I spent a lot of time by myself. I was with my mom in Torrance for the weekdays, and spent time with my dad every other weekend in the San Fernando Valley. While my mom worked, I spent a majority of time playing the NES and listening to her extensive collection of vinyl records. She had everything from Donna Summers “Four Seasons Of Love”, Ray Charles, Carly Simon, “Rappers Delight” by the Sugar Hill Gang along with a huge stack of other records. When I was with my father I learned to appreciate classic rock. He introduced me to music from the Eagles, the Beatles, the Doors and countless other groups. I also grew a great appreciation for Jazz music. There’s nothing like listening to “A Love Supreme” by John Coltrane, or just letting Miles Davis classic “Kind Of Blue” play all the way through, from first song to last in one listening session. These are memories that I will never forget.

Wednesday February 8th, a new Music Documentary channel will be added to the EOD screens in the LOOT public theater and private spaces. Having recorded music myself, and with it playing a major role in my life, I love being able to get a more in depth look at other artists lives, how they got their start, and their processes. When the channel arrives there will be a good amount of content that will be available day one. Along with the Music Documentaries, Animax, the newly added anime channel, will also have an update. Two new shows that will make its way onto the channel are “Nisemonogatar” which is a sequel to the series “Bakemonogatari” and continues to follow main character ‘Koyomi Araragi’. “Ikki Tousen” focuses on seven warring schools in Japan. We will also be able to watch new episodes of “Fate/Zero” and “Kurozuka”.

The films that will be initially premiering on the Music Documentary channel are as follows:

  • Beastie Boys: Horseplay: Unauthorized
  • The Buddy Holly Story
  • Composing The Beatles Songbook: 1966-1970
  • Miles Davis: Cool Jazz Sound
  • Pearl Jam: Under Review
  • Prince: The Glory Years Unauthorized
  • Queen Under Review: 1973-1980
  • Radiohead: Homework (One of my favorite groups. Can’t wait to watch this!)
  • Rolling Stones: In The 1960s
  • Tom Waits: Under Review
  • U2 – Achtung Baby: Classic Album Under Review
  • U2 – Rebirth Of Cool: U2 In The Third Millennium
  • Van Morrison: Under Review: 1964-1974
  • Velvet Underground: Under Review
  • The Who, The Mods And The Quadrophenia

Last but definitely not least is the announcement of something that I personally was hoping for. LOOT is dropping the Space Apartment Comfort Bundle. “Designed specifically for the Space Apartment” the black and white “Cube and Tube Furniture sets” are made to fit into the contour of the space. The furniture set looks extremely slick and would make a great addition to any personal space. Aside from having a futuristic feel to them, the bundle will also add the air of sophistication to the other spaces they are placed in. The addition of Animax, a channel that highlights music documentaries, and a new furniture bundle for the Space Apartment shows that LOOT is listening to their fans and will continue to remain the trendsetters of bringing media and entertainment content to the users in Home.

MAN!! :D Music has been a great part of my personality throughout my decades of living. Stories could be told through some of my favorites like Paul Hardcastle and Boney James, just to name some examples. So to see this on EOD will be a treat.

The furniture items look slick, just as you said and I’m definitely looking forward to them as well.

    Great article, Beta!
